Malice laughed as nearly everything and anything that what once was the island got sucked up into the black hole. Where once there had been lush seaside foliage, now stood a giant crater. The ocean itself was now even being suck up into the hole which meant it was time to stop. He released his focus and the black hole shut instantaneously. Amazing that with just one little thought all that power could vanish in an instant. The other end of the black hole would last a little longer; it formed a bit after this end had, but still lasted the same length. All that had been sucked into it would be dumped out, assuming it made it. Organic matter, and all life forms would survive the relatively harmless ordeal, but weaker matter might not. The sea water that had been sucked up in the process was one such thing, as the polar bonds between water molecules were relatively weak, and even a wormhole of this length could pull them apart. The molecules would be dumped yes, but more than likely they would be blown away instantly by the wind or condensate briefly before evaporating.
The sea now washed over the giant crater, covering the entire expanse. There was no indication that an island had ever even been there, let alone that it had been home to such an incident. Malice fell from the sky, cackling all the way. He didn't care as he plunged into the ocean, that he probably could have drowned then and there had he not scrounged up the energy for one more teleportation. It was just so wonderful to know that everything was coming together. He was exhausted now though, and would have to rest for some time. Commencement of the final steps would be soon though, and he would make sure that everyone died. The sun was finally up now, Malice's deed now done and more evil looming ahead, he hid among the shadows and rested.
