Ryelle and Aaron had been slowly making their way toward Electrium after their "deaths". They figured since they were both dead, they really didn't have a reason to hurry so they were taking their time, stopping on the outskirts of small villages where they would be less likely to be recognized.
Ryelle had been returning to her and Aaron's camp in the hills near their most recent stop, when she had seen the poster. It featured a detailed account of how an exiled member of the court of Aunden had kidnapped the High Governor's daughter. Under the description were pictures of Aaron and herself.
Staring at the poster for several seconds, she realized they were both in trouble. Ryelle turned and walked as quickly as she could back out of the village without raising suspicion, making sure her face was covered with her hood. Reaching the hills where their camp was, Ryelle broke into a sprint and vaulted over the line of brush blocking thier camp from sight landing right in front of Aaron.

Aaron looked up at her, surprised at her sudden appearance in front of him. She was slightly short of breath, and he found himself wondering why she was hiding her face. What is it?

Straightening up she said, still panting slightly, We're in major trouble, Aaron. Someone knows we're still alive, and they think you've kidnapped me...

Aaron's eyes narrowed, and for a moment he thought she was joking. But Ryelle was never good at joking and hiding it, and the serious look on her face told him this was no joke. How do you know?

Seeing his expression, Ryelle said, Don't give me that look....why would I joke about something like this? On my way back I saw a wanted poster with the whole account on it. One of my guards must've told my father a story...She sighed and said bitterly, Daddy-dearest just had to pick now to start caring about me....

Or maybe he's just using this as an excuse to get me, Aaron suggested in an annoyed tone. Not at Ryelle, but at the stupidity of some people. It infuriated him. You know he'd do anything to legally arrrest and/or kill me.
